Job summary

Miniso Hawaii Kaneohe is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive sales growth. You will coach shifts, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure safety and loss prevention practices are followed.

This role requires leadership, flexibility to work nights/weekends/holidays, and the ability to travel between locations if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Hospitality or related degrees is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in retail management, with a strong track record of leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager by overseeing daily store operations and ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Lead a dynamic team of Shift Leads and Sales Associates; drive sales performance and productivity.
• Maintain merchandising standards and visual presentation; ensure adherence to operating procedures.
• Promote membership program sign-ups to build loyalty and increase retention and sales.
• Assist in inventory management, shipments, damages/returns, and supplies.
• Participate in recruitment, training, staffing, and retention of store talent.
• Support administrative tasks, scheduling, and compliance with company policies.
• Provide constructive feedback to foster growth and accountability within the team.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Loss Prevention to address shrink per policies.
• Train, motivate, mentor, and coach staff to achieve sales targets and high performance.
• Manage cash handling and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
