Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, maximize sales, manage expenses and inventory, train staff and deliver outstanding customer service.

The role requires at least one year of retail management, strong English communication, leadership, and the ability to work in multiple stores within the district; normal week up to 40 hours with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one (1) year in retail management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall quality and performance of the retail store staff.
• Ensures compliance of all company policies and procedures.
• Models effective leadership to gain commitment to store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training and development of store personnel.
• Assist with expense management and sets strategies to meet budget.
• Monitor loss/shrink and inventory accuracy to meet company goals.
• Oversee safety and business standards compliance.
• Train employees in selling and merchandising techniques.
• Uphold outstanding customer service in a friendly environment.
• Maintain accurate merchandise inventory counts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Typically a 40-hour week with days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
