Job summary

Hibbett, Inc. in Forrest City, Arkansas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store operations, assist the Store Manager, and uphold excellent customer service and merchandising across departments.

The role requires knowledge of products and policies, and the individual will act in the Store Manager's absence and train staff as needed. You will help control assets, coordinate scheduling, stock levels, and store standards while promoting services and merchandise.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, preferably in footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team leadership and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets, selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assumes responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments when necessary.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure each department’s responsibilities and standards are completed.
