Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Forrest City, AR location. You will assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and driving sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will be knowledgeable across product areas, uphold company policies, and step in during the Store Manager's absence. This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example to meet store goals.

• Experience in retail, footwear and athletic apparel preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.

Mansioni

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to set action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• In the Store Manager's absence, assume responsibility for the entire store.
• Support overall personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep the Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure high-quality customer service is maintained.
• Perform general administrative duties and be trained in Store Manager responsibilities.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per the customer service manual and assist customers during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures as listed in manuals and memos.
• Protect assets and financial information by ensuring internal controls and reporting fraud risk.
