Job summary

HouseMart, a family-owned chain of stores, seeks a dedicated team member to support daily store operations and drive sales growth. You will coach staff on selling techniques, product knowledge and inventory best practices while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-energy environment.

The role requires leadership, the ability to manage opening/closing, and adherence to company policies while contributing to community service and store performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate effective decision-making.
• Advanced understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Avail­ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Maximize productivity to achieve sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate expectations to staff.
• Ensure that all products and selling areas are properly received, stocked and merchandised.
• Motivate staff and promote team effort to achieve department and store goals.
• Ensure store is run in accordance with our Company’s policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assist in attaining shrinkage goals within industry standards.
• Responsible for store opening and closing functions.
