Job summary

HouseMart is seeking a store operations leader to assist in daily duties, drive sales, and coach staff on sales techniques and product knowledge. This role supports the Store Manager and ensures customer satisfaction while maintaining inventory integrity and merchandising standards.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and management skills, ability to work flexible hours, and a track record of delivering high-service levels in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years in retail or customer-service environment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions in the absence of Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Maximize productivity to achieve sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate expectations to staff.
• Ensure products and selling areas are received, stocked, and merchandised.
• Motivate staff and promote teamwork to achieve department/store goals.
• Ensure store operates in line with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor shrinkage and help meet industry-standard targets.
• Handle store opening and closing functions.
