Job summary

HouseMart in Hawaii is seeking a dedicated store supervisor to support daily operations, coach staff on selling techniques, and help grow our community-focused business. This full-time role offers hands-on leadership in a family-owned environment.

You will oversee opening/closing, ensure product merchandising, and drive sales while maintaining exceptional customer service. Experience in retail and strong communication are essential, with the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail and/or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store functions in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Maximize productivity to achieve sales.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate expectations to staff.
• Ensure products are received, stocked and merchandised.
• Motivate staff and promote teamwork to achieve goals.
• Ensure store complies with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor shrinkage and assist in maintaining industry standards.
• Responsible for store opening and closing functions.
