Job summary

TravisMathew, a premium lifestyle performance apparel brand, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, sales, and service in our Dedham, MA location.

You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a team, recruit and train staff, execute merchandising and CRM initiatives, manage inventory and store standards, and drive traffic through exceptional guest experiences, community events, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a client service-related capacity.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail store management.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and service focus on the floor to achieve sales goals.
• Connect with in-store clients and develop/retain repeat clients to drive sales.
• Assist in strategies to drive sales and KPIs.
• Assistant in recruiting and training a team of support managers and client-experience focused associates
• Coach team to meet client service standards and company policies and procedures
• Create and manage in-store events, marketing initiatives and CRM activity to drive repeat business
• Implement product and visual merchandising directives to maximize space and drive sales
• Manage inventory receipt, transfers and returns
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including front of house and stock space
• Foster a work environment focused on teamwork and productivity
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications and back-office operations management
• Proficient in visual merchandising and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to recruit, train, manage and develop a team
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and escalate when needed
• Ability to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings and holidays
