Job summary

DTLR, Inc. is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, and maintain inventory and merchandising standards.

This role requires at least one year in retail management, excellent English communication, strong leadership, and the ability to travel between district stores as needed. You will lead staff development, monitor expenses, and ensure customer service excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of one (1) year in retail management.
• Excellent command of the English language to communicate with management, associates and customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to think strategically, plan and organize effectively.
• Professionalism in all situations.
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to execute directives with precision and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall quality and performance of the retail store staff.
• Ensures compliance of all company policies and procedures.
• Models effective leadership to gain commitment to store goals and training standards.
• Assist with recruitment, selection and training and development of store personnel.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for all store employees.
• Assist with expense management and develop strategies for budgeting.
• Monitor shrink and loss prevention efforts to meet company goals.
• Ensure safety and business standards are maintained.
• Support training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
• Provide outstanding customer service and a friendly store environment.
• Assist in merchandise counts and inventory processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
