Zaxby’s is hiring an Assistant Manager in Wilmington, NC to lead daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service. The role involves supervising 2-4 shift managers and 15-50 staff, training new hires, and driving sales while ensuring inventory accuracy.

Candidate must excel in a fast-paced retail environment, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. In-store training and compliance with standards are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a retail store manager or assistant manager.
• Strong background in retail sales and customer service.
• Experience with sales and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Oversee all FOH and BOH operations and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers and addressing concerns.
• Conduct employee orientations and ensure proper training of new hires.
• Support the sales process by providing product knowledge and assisting with transactions.
• Use sales skills to drive growth and meet sales targets.
• Monitor sales and inventory levels to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide input on inventory and ordering to keep shelves stocked with demand.
