Job summary

Zaxbys is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach staff, and uphold brand standards. You will schedule shifts, monitor service quality, and ensure safety and compliance across the store in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 48 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others; 1-3 years of restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Create and maintain effective work schedules following company standards and local laws.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to meet quarterly goals and service standards.
• Ensure service, product quality, and cleanliness meet brand expectations.
• Communicate performance concerns to the General Manager and assist with reviews.
• Foster a positive culture and team morale through recognition and leading by example.
• Handle guest and team member complaints timely and respectfully.
• Maintain records and use management tools; escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines and legal compliance across operations.
