Zaxby's in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations, sales, and customer service. You will report to the General Manager and supervise 2-4 shift managers and 15-50 team members.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, inventory, training new hires, driving sales, and ensuring compliance with company standards. The role requires 40 hours per week, background check, and availability for varied shifts; pay is $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a retail store manager or assistant manager.
• Strong background in retail sales and customer service.
• Experience with sales and inventory management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures and inventory management.
• Oversee FOH and BOH operations and ensure standards compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist with sales transactions.
• Conduct employee orientations and train new hires.
• Drive sales by applying product knowledge and upselling.
• Monitor sales and inventory to identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to inventory planning and ordering decisions.
