Job summary

Vuori is redefining athletic apparel with a casual, lifestyle-forward design. The Retail Assistant Store Manager will help the Store Manager guide the sales team, foster connections with customers, and uphold Vuori’s brand standards through informed product knowledge and a positive, energetic approach.

In this role you will create unforgettable experiences, lead daily operations, and keep merchandising and inventory in check while driving sales and team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Available for 8-hour shifts, 5 days/week, including at least 1 weekend day.
• Must be a leader in punctuality and attendance, adhering to scheduled shifts.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues.
• A customer service expert, creates experiences and develops relationships with customers, embraces the social aspect of sales and the ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
• Strong organizational skills and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create an unforgettable customer experience by engaging customers with product knowledge and a positive attitude.
• Lead the sales floor and team when the Store Manager is not present.
• Assist with finding sizes, fitting room prep, and giving honest product feedback.
• Build lasting customer relationships and invite them to events and replenishment cycles.
• Stay informed on new products and best sellers and share insights with customers and team.
• Oversee daily store operations to support sales goals and customer experience.
• Motivate the team to meet sales targets in a team-based commission environment.
• Develop product knowledge to serve as the store expert and elevate service quality.
• Coordinate inventory needs and support merchandising standards on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness, restocking, and backroom organization to run smoothly.
