Job summary

Vuori, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to help the Retail Store Manager lead the sales team, delivering Vuori’s brand values through product knowledge and a positive outlook.

You will create an unforgettable customer experience, manage day-to-day operations, and build lasting customer relationships while staying knowledgeable on new products and events. This role offers growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available mornings/evenings; 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week.
• Leads by example with punctuality and attendance.
• Able to build relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an unforgettable customer experience; work with the sales team to ensure the best experience for each customer.
• Own the sales floor and guide the team to prioritize customer experience.
• Prepare fitting rooms, locate sizes, and provide feedback on merchandise style and fit.
• Engage with customers about product details, new product, and replenishment; invite to events.
• Remain knowledgeable on what's new and what's selling well; share with customers and team.
• Lead day-to-day operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Motivate the sales team and achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
• Seek product knowledge in the fashion landscape and active-wear to serve as an expert.
• Oversee projects while focusing on customer experience; communicate inventory needs.
• Complete weekly restock and reports to inventory management.
• Complete weekly cycle counts.
• Process weekly shipments.
• Ensure store supplies are stocked; communicate needs monthly.
• Process online returns and defective products; ship to warehouse.
• Maintain restock/destock daily; keep backroom organized.
• Manage Aloha displays; refresh weekly.
• Manage mannequin refresh and one-offs.
• Ensure merchandising standards on the floor.
