Job summary

Vuori, a fast-paced athletic apparel retailer, is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to help the Store Manager lead a dynamic sales team. You will connect with customers, communicate Vuori's brand values through product knowledge, and maintain high standards of service and ambiance.

You will own the floor when the Store Manager is away, motivate the team to hit sales goals in a team-based commission setting, and stay ahead of fashion trends in activewear.

Qualifications

• Availability for morning and/or evening shifts, 8 hours, 5 days a week.
• Proven leadership in punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Customer service expert who creates experiences and handles concerns.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Quick to learn new procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Create an unforgettable customer experience.
• Lead the sales floor and team to prioritize customer experience.
• Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide feedback on merchandise.
• Forge lasting relationships by discussing product details and upcoming events.
• Stay informed on new and best-selling products to share with customers and team.
• Lead daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Motivate the team and achieve sales goals in a team-based environment.
• Seek product knowledge in fashion and activewear to serve as an expert.
• Oversee inventory needs and support business goals.
• Complete weekly restock, cycle counts, shipments, and keep backroom organized.
• Maintain merchandising standards and cleanliness.
