Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist the Store Manager with supervision of staff, merchandise presentation, deposits, and paperwork while performing stocking and cashier duties.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and attention to detail, with duties including scheduling, training, inventory control, and cash management to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for employees.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, and displaying.
• Maintain accurate inventory and control damages and cycles.
• Support planograms and merchandise presentation as directed.
• Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and deposits.
• Assist in store management in the Store Manager's absence.
