Job summary

Dollar General seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager's direction. You will supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, settlements, and deposits, while performing stocking and cashier duties to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

Responsibilities include supervising employees, assisting with scheduling and training, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring planograms and displays meet standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as needed (minimum two days/week).

• Ensure cash handling integrity and deposits.
• Support Store Manager in their absence.
