Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Maintain promotional store displays and fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged items.
• Keep store areas neat, with a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and follow policies.
• Help supervise and develop store associates and maintain a safe environment.
