Dollar Tree in Naperville, IL seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, lead staff, organize merchandise, and ensure a clean, safe, and friendly shopping environment for customers and associates.

The role involves openings/closings, adherence to procedures, inventory, payroll and cash handling, and safeguarding assets. A motivated, team-focused leader is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, trash disposal, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
