GOODWILL CENTRAL COAST is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer and donor service at our retail locations. You will assist customers with transactions, help with product selection, and support store operations when the Store Manager is away.

You will oversee basic operations, guide staff on sales questions, greet customers, ring up sales, display inventory, and maintain a clean, safe floor. Some roles include donor processing and daily sanitation tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months previous sales associate experience or equivalent.
• Basic math ability.
• Familiarity with electronic cash registers.
• Familiarity with Goodwill Central Coast’s mission, general Company, and retail policies.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with transactions and product selection.
• Ring up sales and follow cash handling procedures.
• Open/close store procedures as assigned.
• Shelf/display inventory and maintain neat, safe store.
• Provide guidance to staff on sales questions.
• Communicate issues to Store Manager.
• Support operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• May perform donor services and daily sanitizing tasks.
