Family Dollar in Easton, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise associates to uphold company standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and leadership in a fast-paced retail setting. This is a part-time position with focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties (walking, standing, stooping) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store communications.
• Maintain storefront fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked, clean, and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures; supervise and develop store associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
