Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, train and supervise associates, manage inventory, perform opening and closing procedures, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant store environment.

This full-time role is based in Loysville, PA. Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills are required to help maintain a high-energy retail setting and exceptional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain displays, and support loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and stockroom according to company standards.
