Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager's direction. The role includes supervising staff, merchandising, paperwork, and deposits to maximize profitability and minimize losses.

Responsibilities include customer service leadership, scheduling, training, inventory control, and maintaining planograms, with emphasis on cashier accountability and loss prevention.

Qualificações

• HS diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail experience with six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Follow company processes to manage merchandise, including receiving, stocking, and rotating displays.
• Help maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and deposits.
• Assist with planograms and ensuring proper merchandising presentation.
• Support cash handling, refunds, and deposits; assist in store financial integrity.
• Assist in managing store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
