Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help maintain a clean, customer-first store. You will assist with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and cash handling under the Store Manager, while also stocking and cashiering to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Role includes supervising staff, ensuring planograms, training, safety meetings, and safeguarding company assets. Requires strong communication and organizational skills with retail and supervisory experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and POS system.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling employees, providing training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise including stocking, restocking and displays per planograms.
• Support inventory accuracy, damages control, and deposits procedures.
• Assist store operations in the store manager's absence.
