FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Urbana, IL.

The role partners with the Store Manager to coach staff, manage daily operations, deliver great customer service, and drive profitability across diverse merchandise including jewelry, electronics, and tools. You will supervise, train, and recruit, open/close the store, handle cash, and ensure accurate transactions while maintaining appealing merchandising and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
