Job summary

Cider is seeking a Store Development Project Manager in the United States to own end-to-end delivery of new stores. Manage design, permitting, construction, commissioning and grand opening to meet brand standards and operational readiness.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction or project management, 2–3 years client-side retail experience, AutoCAD proficiency, Mandarin is a plus, and willingness to travel frequently; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction or project management, including 2–3 years client-side on retail projects.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Building Services/MEP, or Construction/Project Management.
• Proven track record delivering new-store or commercial fit-out projects from design through opening.
• Strong drawing review skills and proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of MEP, fire protection and ELV.
• Willing and able to travel frequently; authorized to work in the United States.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Receive landlord/site documentation, conduct surveys and report risks.
• Develop store layouts aligned with brand design standards and coordinate with teams.
• Manage external designers and consultants; review drawings for compliance and cost targets.
• Drive submissions and approvals to obtain permits and commence works.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure readiness before opening.
• Organise safety, compliance and project documentation for audits.
• Lead site meetings, track schedule, and implement recovery plans.
