Job summary

Michaels in Albany, NY is seeking a Store Associate to uphold a high standard of store appearance, assist customers, and support omnichannel processes. You will clean, stock, and help customers find items while delivering friendly service and adhering to safety and SOP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy boxes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate items.
• Assist with checkout and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers about Rewards program and private label cards.
• Participate in Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
