Michaels is hiring for a store associate at the Albany Clifton Park location. You will assist customers, maintain shelves, process transactions, and support omnichannel services such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

The role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and adherence to store policies. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting, and occasional evening or weekend shifts, with a base pay range stated below plus overtime where applicable.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support store recovery, SISO, AD sets, shrink and safety programs.
