Job summary

Michaels is hiring a Store Associate for the Albany-Latham, NY location. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers, handle checkout, and support merchandise recovery to maintain in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions to standards, promoting the Rewards program, supporting omni-channel tasks (BOPIS/SFS), and following store SOPs while upholding safety and courtesy toward all guests.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS Omni-channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking and planogram processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery to stay in-stock and well-merchandised.
• Support SISO and AD set duties as assigned.
• Assist shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies.
