Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is seeking a Retail Store Associate to help transform lives through the power of work by assisting customers, processing transactions, and managing donated goods.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrate a strong work ethic, greet customers, balance the cash drawer, and assist in merchandise presentation and donation handling to support the store's mission daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Willingness to work a full shift of at least 8 hours and to rotate evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with merchandise selection.
• Operate the store’s cash register and balance cash at shift end.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize merchandise.
• Assist in display setup and merchandise presentation on the sales floor.
• Process donations and prep items for the sales floor.
• Provide excellent customer service and escalate complaints as needed.
• Rotate merchandise from the sales floor and track rotation numbers.
• Cross-train in other workstations as needed.
