Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is seeking a Retail Store Associate to support our mission by collecting, processing, and selling donated goods to customers at our retail stores and donation centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Ability to work a full shift of at least 8 hours per scheduled workday.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Operate cash register in line with company policies.
• Close out cash drawer at end of shift and balance cash amounts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize displays.
• Follow safety and security policies; cross-train as needed.
• Assist donors; sort and pre-sort donations for sale.
• Record production and rotation numbers; support other stations as needed.
