Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma is seeking a store associate to deliver excellent customer service while supporting store operations. This position involves assisting donors and customers, stocking merchandise, and working as part of a team to advance the organization's mission.

Starting pay is $13.00 per hour. This role requires reliability, basic math, and good communication. Opportunities for advancement and training are available within a climate-controlled retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Desire to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors.
• Distribute inventory from the back room to the correct areas.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked and presentable on the sales floor.
• Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by Goodwill.
• Must be able to perform tasks according to work instructions.
• Ensure security of all company assets and donations.
• Perform general sales floor/production area duties and cross train in all work areas.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures as outlined by Agency procedures.
• Greet and assist all donors/customers while directing complaints to management.
• Assist in loading and unloading of Goodwill trucks and trailers.
• Maintain store housekeeping to Agency standards.
• Attend training as required.
• Review safety policies and adhere to safety rules; report unsafe conditions.
