Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Retail Store Associate (Store Clerk) at Jordan Creek in West Des Moines. You will greet customers, receive and process donations, stock shelves, and operate the cash register with friendly, service-oriented behavior.

Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with an extra $1.00 per hour on weekend shifts. Full-time schedules are 38–40 hours weekly, with opportunities for a monthly bonus and annual merit increases based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort donations and merchandise for the sales floor.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash as scheduled.
• Keep merchandise organized and fixtures clean.
• Work with supervisors to rotate items on the sales floor.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
