Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Full-Time Retail Store Associates to welcome customers, process donations, and merchandise goods with a service-first approach. You will cashier, answer questions, and help keep the sales floor organized while adhering to store policies.

The role requires flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends, lifting up to 40 pounds, and passing background checks. Prior experience in fast-paced settings is a plus and full-time hours are available with growth

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or currently attending high school or GED classes.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to carry, lift, push or pull 40 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort donations and merchandise and maintain organized sales floor.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash as scheduled.
• Carry out general cleaning tasks and assist with stocking and merchandising.
