Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Retail Store Associates to accept, sort, merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service aligned with our values of love, kindness, and respect.

Full-Time roles are available with shifts Monday–Saturday 8 am–10 pm and Sunday 11 am–6 pm. Starting wage $15.00/hour with $1.00 additional for Saturday/Sunday shifts, plus bonuses and merit increases. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• A high school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort donations and organize merchandise.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash when scheduled.
• Carry out cleaning tasks and move merchandise with a dolly or cart.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
