Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is hiring Full-Time Retail Store Associates to accept, sort, and merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service. Positions are 38-40 hours per week with Monday–Saturday 8am–10pm and Sunday 11am–6pm. Starting wage is $15.00/hour with an additional $1.00/hour on weekend shifts and monthly bonuses.

Must be 16 or older and pass background checks. Flexible schedule required, including days, evenings, and weekends; prior fast-paced retail or donor

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Ability to greet and assist customers courteously.
• Effective communication and basic math skills.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort donations and merchandise and ensure quality standards.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash during shifts.
• Carry out cleaning tasks and move merchandise as needed.
