Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Philadelphia location. You will assist with day-to-day functions and help organize merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring seasonal areas are maintained.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, staff training, loss prevention, maintaining clean, safe store environments, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and supervise store associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
