Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House and oversee receiving, unloading, and merchandising flow to the sales floor. This role sits on the store leadership team and offers growth opportunities within our expanding organization.

The position requires supervisory experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/stand and lift merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor)
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, setup and organization meet standards
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines
• Foster a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards
• Direct associates and workload to optimize productivity
• Ensure accountability for team productivity and merchandise protection
• Coach associates and provide recognition
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Support Community Relations participation through company programs
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence
