Job summary

Burlington Stores in Columbia, SC is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead Back of House operations. You will supervise receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting cartons, and ensuring merchandise flows smoothly to the sales floor while upholding safety and asset protection.

You’ll work with store management, coach team members, participate in workload planning, assist in recruiting, and help grow a diverse, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail or similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, and moving goods to the sales floor.
• Maintain back-of-house cleanliness, setup, and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection to reduce shortages and promote safety for customers and associates.
• Direct workload and supervise associates; monitor productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition; drive policy compliance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates; participate in planning meetings.
