Michaels Woodbury, NY is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

The role includes engaging customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, educating on VOC surveys, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
• Willingness to engage customers about store programs and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and backroom duties; manage returns/go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model professional behavior
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Other duties as assigned
