Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is hiring for a retail team member at our store. You will assist customers, ensure fast checkout, and support truck unloading, stocking, and merchandising.

Responsibilities include promoting rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, enrolling customers, and assisting with omni-channel tasks. Must be 16+ with a focus on friendly service and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
• U.S. applicants must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience and cash handling
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and SFS processes
• Unload trucks, stock, and manage planograms
• Complete merchandise recovery and in-stock store standards
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact professionally and be a positive role model
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
