Job summary

Michaels in Salinas, CA is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find what they need while ensuring fast and accurate checkout.

Responsibilities include helping customers, promoting Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and participating in omnichannel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. You will also unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms to keep the store well merchandised.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-back process; keep store well-merchandised and in-stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image and be a role model for Team Members.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
