Job summary

Michaels Stores, a leading arts and crafts retailer, seeks team members for Charleston-West Ashley, SC to assist customers, process purchases, and participate in stocking, inventory, and store recovery duties.

Responsibilities include helping customers locate products, enrolling shoppers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and supporting BOPIS/SFS processes while adhering to SOPs and safety guidelines. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and stock replenishment.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs and company policies.
