Job summary

Michaels in North Charleston, SC is seeking a store team member to help customers, ensure a fast checkout, and maintain a well‑stocked, welcoming shopping environment.

You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and executing planograms while promoting the Rewards program and card enrollments. The role requires adaptability to store hours, safety standards, and cross‑training in framing.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move about the store.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Process fast and friendly checkouts with standard cash handling.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and omni‑channel options (BOPIS, SFS).
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and follow planograms and SOPs.
• Support shrink programs, safety policies, and general store recovery.
• Cross‑trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
