Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is hiring a Retail Associate to support store operations at our Carmel location. You may work as a Cashier, Textiles or Wares Producer, Donation Door Attendant, eCommerce Producer, e-Books Producer, or Rack/Cart Runner to help achieve sales and community goals.

The role emphasizes accurate cash handling, customer service, product sorting, merchandising, and occasional heavy equipment use in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires no degree (Degree and Credential Requirements- NONE)
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to manage time and multi-task in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and follows cash handling procedures.
• Provides information about Goodwill programs to educate customers and directs questions to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains cleanliness of the sales floor and merchandising displays.
• Supports ClickGoodwill eCommerce activities, packaging and shipping totes.
• Scans and sorts donated items for retail or ClickGoodwill processing.
• Ensures safety and orderly backroom operations and pallet-jack usage as needed.
