Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to support store operations in Indianapolis, IN. Roles include cashier, textiles/wares producer, donation door attendant, eCommerce producer, e-Books producer, and rack/cart runner.

Responsibilities span cash handling, customer education, inventory sorting, donation processing, and ClickGoodwill shipping. Candidates should be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Rings up customer orders, balances drawer, follows cash handling protocols.
• Educates customers about Goodwill programs and directs questions to management.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and merchandise.
• Sorts and tags textiles/wares, meets production targets (90–100 items/hr combined).
• Accepts donations, sorts items, and maintains organized backroom and donation door.
• Packs and ships items for ClickGoodwill and maintains organized eCommerce workflows.
