Navy Exchange Service Command (NEX Oceana) in Virginia Beach is seeking a Specialty Sales Associate to be the face of our brand, assisting customers and guiding them to products and services. Qualifications

1–2 years of Retail or relevant work experience required; 6 months of product specific experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to read, write and interpret instructional documents.
Able to learn product features and articulate our purpose in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

Customer Service - Proactively engage customers and build connections.
Ask questions and listen to customer needs; direct customers to merchandise and inform them about promotions.
Use product knowledge to demonstrate features and provide comparisons; assist with fitting and measurements as needed.
Maintain store appearance and organization; assist with inventory and ticketing; handle POS transactions and cash handling.
Upsell, cross-sell and suggest products based on customer needs; process special orders and paperwork as required.
