Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida seeks a Retail Shift Supervisor to support the store's daily operations at 3759 Tamiami Trl E, Naples. The role leads staff, drives sales, and ensures safe, friendly service aligned with Goodwill mission.

Responsibilities include training staff, maintaining displays, and accurate reporting while managing expenses and adherence to policies. Flexible scheduling may be required to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems, donation systems, office computers, and telephones.
• Ability to supervise and train employees in production, merchandising, checkout, and customer service functions.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions while demonstrating good judgment, patience, and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment through adherence to Kaizen principles and safety procedures.
• Assist in achieving store sales, expense, profit, and Ecommerce revenue goals.
• Ensure staff maintain positive relationships with customers and donors and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Sort and grade merchandise, hang and price items, and meet daily production goals.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports, control store expenses, and ensure compliance with loss prevention policies.
• Assist with store maintenance and ensure cleanliness of sales floor, backroom, and exterior areas.
• Foster effective communication with employees through meetings and training sessions; supervise and develop staff.
