Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Mechanicsville, VA. You will support daily operations, supervise cash handling, and coach a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

This role requires open availability, weekend/holiday work, and leadership potential to grow into store management. Weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, 401(k) and PTO are offered, with a $1000 sign-on bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and able to work weekends/holidays.
• Retail leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to coach and lead a team.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and facilities.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
