Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC is seeking a dependable Shift Lead for our Shepherd, TX travel center location. You will supervise staff, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold store standards during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities include training team members, managing inventory, processing cash transactions, and promoting a safe, efficient work environment. Experience in retail and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years in retail or customer service; supervisory preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations during the shift and ensure staff performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly.
• Train, mentor, and support new employees.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering and stocking.
• Manage cash registers and process transactions with accuracy.
• Enforce health and safety protocols; ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Communicate operational issues and staff performance to management.
